Philosophy

Konark Hospitals is guided by the ideals of Thatipally Somalingam Memorial Trust, which was set-up in 2006 by Dr. Rajani’s husband, Sri Ashok K. Thatipally in memory of his late father. In keeping with its motto – “To Serve the Needy and the Aged” – the Trust engages in philanthropic causes for the benefit of society.

Believing in the dictum that service to mankind is like serving God, the Trust rises above religion, caste and creed to actively participate in activities such as conducting medical camps, renovating temples, granting relief to the destitute and to victims of natural calamities.

It is this pure and true spirit of compassion and humanity that Konark Hospitals imbibes as it transcends monetary benefit to seek something more precious – the smiles of happiness on the faces of cured patients and their loved ones
